Carved Stone

And in those
Long off days
Well before
Man walked
The land
It became
Warmer and
The ice that
Covered that
Same land began
Leaving jumbles
Of rocks behind
Leaving highlands
And lowlands and
Waters behind
To carve the stones
Between rivers
And streams
To wash all
Softness away
Tearing down
Carving hundreds
Of waterfalls
On its marches
To the seas
